Hi Tomas and the crew, I have a 'wierd' problem with a spirit-pro, I have been flying it on a Trex700 gasser, then I stopped and tried to adjust a couple of parameters from the laptop. The computer doesn't seem to recognize the unit as a 'Pro', it only sees it as a basic spirit, at the same time it doesn't show the serial number. I have tried to update firmware, various times, and reset to factory values, set in recovery mode all to no avail. What's going on? Can you give me some clue as to what I might do next, it's as if the unit has lost some of its' memory. HELP ! regards, Steve E

More info, It appears that the unit will still work, albeit in a reduced capacity ! I was using the 'switched output to Ch 0' as a kill switch, the computer says that my unit is a 'Spirit' unit so I don't have this option. I am configured with Geo-link (in primary sat. port), Spektrum satellites (3), Align servos all round ( 5 in total with throttle ), Gryphon Quasar bec set at 6.0volts, OS GT15HZ engine with original CDI unit thro' Rcexl radio operated kill switch. As I stated, the unit does seem to work, ish. I have not felt brave enough to fly it since these faults appeared, (I don't like the idea of no remote 'kill switch) I can't understand what would make it behave in such a manner. I'm sure I must have missed out some important information or a critical step, but don't know what. . . . . Yet ! Please, give me a clue. Thanks, in advance. Steve E

Hello,
the problem likely ocurred during flashing or connecting some peripheral to the unit. From this point unit lost some internal data which makes it unusable.
Fortunately it is possible to fix the issue, likely by you. It would be good to recall when it happened for the first time, as the previous operation was reason for such issue.
I will send you private message with instruction.
