Hi everyone,
Does anyone have a setup you can share with me please on successfully getting your JR XP 9303 Heli radio (PPM) setup that you have working for various Special Functions for the Geolink GPS with Spirit Pro FBL controller? If so I would love to know how you programmed it to work for Hard Deck Rescue using Altitude Limit Rescue and Return to Home Feature, and set up your bank switching to work?

Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.

Right now I am limited to 9 channels, and PWM Mode unfortunately with the GeoLink only supports Channels 5 and 7 as Options to Program Special Functions. The JR XP 9303 H TX has 9 channels. I am open to switching to SBUS as mentioned below at least that would give me more channels to activate more Special Functions in the GeoLink. But first I have to get the JR XP 9303 H Tx to work with what I have so far first if possible.

I thought I had it working on the bench, but doing a lot of mixing to accomplish that, Re Mapping switches and mixing them to the AUX 3 Lever was a success, but due to the mapping of the Aux 2, Gear, and Program Mix 1 to set up when bank switching kicks in, seems to appear to work on bench just fine, but when in real flight, and activate functions, the heli always has side affects like either coming backwards towards me, or requires stick inputs to compensate for the difference between the banks. I have exhausted all attempts to make this work properly. Perhaps it can't be done, here's a short video showing my current setup, looks like it should work but each time I go to Rescue the heli does go into Rescue mode but is not stable due to the mixing of the channels most likely: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1q6wVKMutMWDdw8jn4ddDCG1ar0dX4X8-

Please If Anyone else have a setup working on PPM, with JR XP 9303 H that works and can share would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Dave
P.S. - Yes, I realize I have an older JR XP 9303H Heli TX, but one I really like - but willing to change if no one has solved this mystery of making it work like it should using this TX.

Hi Dave,

there is possibility you can buy cheap converter from PWM to PPM or even better PWM to S-BUS that can transmit all your channels to the unit over a single line.
This would solve everything.

And these converters are just for 9 USD or so.

For example here (for 8 channels):
https://www.ebay.com/itm/8CH-Receiver-P ... SwdzVXsYfe

There will be also other converters for more channels.

If possible, I recommend to avoid usage of any mixes. This could add unexpected problems, so keeping it simple can be better.

If you can get receiver that has directly PPM output then it would be great.

Thank you Tomas so much for your reply. That is very interesting solution that is inexpensive too.

Rather than use the converter, I am going to upgrade my Receivers and get a new TX module XJT for my JR XP 9303 Heli TX that will allow me to do SBUS instead of PWM to get the additional 3 Special Functions for the GeoLink that I want to use to accomplish.

I have the XJT TX Module for my Transmitter, and I have ordered the FrSky RX8R Pro receiver is S-BUS 16 channel (for future TX upgrades at some point) and the JR XJT TX module is also SBUS and is compatible with this receiver.

By buying a JR XJT TX Module that outputs SBUS on my JR XP9303H TX,
and by also change out my current PWM Rx's and I buy SBUS JR compatible RX's for Spirit Pro FBL / GeoLink,
which would be FrSky RX8R Pro 2.4G ACCST 8/16CH SBUS Telemetry Receiver,
that accept SBUS would this be a way to get the full usage of my 9 channels from my now SBUS Compatible JR XP9303 TX.
The FrSky RX8R Pro receiver is S-BUS and the JR XJT TX module is also SBUS and is compatible with this receiver.

I have eliminated most all mixing, as suggested and will report back with results. And the Rx's will be upgraded to support what I want to do, but also provides other features like supporting Fast servos, etc. I believe this will work for me.
I will update and post results as soon as I get the new Rx's.
Thanks, Dave
