It appears that somewhere on the forum someone mentions a list of compatible sensors. However, that is all I can find. Does the Futaba GV-1 Sensor work with the Spirit Pro? And if so, can it work with the Sat voltage output. Since I could not find the spec on the operating voltage of the sensor, I can not tell if voltage is not enough, or enough.
My experience so far, is I have a GV-1 Sensor, but it shows a 67rpm reading on the software interface without moving a magnet in front of it. So it maybe bad. However I don't want to buy a 50.00 sensor if it does not work with the Spirit.
A list of compatible sensors would truly take the guess work out of this issue. I understand that maybe testing would be a burden. However, as you mention that you are open to suggestions, I believe my suggestion would be very helpful in users ascertaining this information. I have spent many hours attempting to try to find this answer, and it really should be provided somewhere. A flybarless unit that does not come with a sensor should at least mention ones that people have gotten to work. As you have team pilots, I am sure you can use their experience for that. I am the first person at my field attempting to install this unit in a new N7 nitro kit. And people are eager to see how it flys, but without a gov solution, this bird is grounded till then. Your assistance in this matter would be appreciated. And like other people on this forum, I truly hope I don't have to buy another governor when I bought the spirit pro for that purpose.
