Will Spirit Pro, with one Spektrum satellite, allow me to drive my night lights, connecting to it two brushed controllers, driven by my DX8 AUX2 and AUX3 channels, same as I currently do with the AR7200BX, without the need of an external receiver?

Both Spirit and Spirit Pro most probably with version 1.4 will support outputting signal for 2-5 free channels. So definitively it will be possible as there is no hardware limitation. With new Spirit Pro there are many, many possibilities that will be available in upcoming updates.
With Futaba, Jeti and nearly all other brands it is already possible as this is built-in in the receivers. For Spektrum we highly recommend Spektrum SRXL receivers where single line connection is possible and at the same time you can use any channel for any purpose. Alternatively you can do so with smaller unit with classic receiver without any problem. This will add just around 4 grams more.
