Hi Thomas, great work.
have you already tested with which minimum altitude the system works reliably? Is it possible to use it for practice 3D with "autorescue" ?

Hi,

it is hard to tell about the reliability, but in the optimal conditions 1m is safe if just loosing orientation in basic maneuvers. Of course when flying fast in direction of ground the model is unable to recover.
Yes, it can work with any kind of flying.

Regarding smaller Spirit units it look like we will be able to support all. We are testing it at the moment. So at the time of release it should work with all our units.

No, this is not possible.
You can still use SPM4649T and second satellite with the Spektrum adapter at the RUD port.

We are revealing the GeoLink!

Tomas

Thank's for the news.

Will you give some discount to the early adapters/ beta testers? I'm asking mainly due to the posted price is now about twice than what was reported earlier during development.

I for one will now think twice putting a module into all my helicopters; buy less that what i originally intended and will just share among them. Of course it takes resources on your side to develop this though it seems the final price was big jump from the original. Giving discounts to early adopters will definitely help with the decision.

Our original idea of the very low cost module changed due to unsatisfactory performance. We have changed design about 10 times to find the best components. Since we do not want to make a compromises, we have decided to use the best available components at the market.
So what you will get for the price is what competition could in the future offer for 5 times higher price.
Thus we are convinced that the resulting price is super cheap for what you will get. Since manufacturing costs are very close, we are even not able to provide any discount, especially not in the first batches.
All in all, the cost is approximately 3 - 5 times under a competition with their old hardware (not counting much more expensive FBL units that you need as well). So we are very glad we were able to set it that low.

^^^^....Well said and as a rookie I'm glad the GPS module is real.
For the price of the unit compared to loosing a heli,I've got no complains.
Hell, the rescue on the spirit was good enough for me,the GPS is just a cherry on top for me...[SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]
I wouldn't mind seeing a video of the GPS in action,if that's OK.
Thanks for all your effort...[THUMBS UP SIGN]

Looking at the V2 adapter you would still need a Y cable to connect the Sat and the 4649T to the Rudder port. Correct ?
