Hello everyone,

I recently added a Geolink to my Spirit Pro. I setup all the features and on the settings tab I could see the TX activate them. I started the "calibration" routine. I moved the Heli (a 606mm Synergy E5s) in a sphere as directed and I saw the blue light flashing. After doing this for a few minutes I rebooted the Spirit. Now the Geolink does flash (slowly) but it shows "not connected" when I connect to the Spirit with my laptop. I tried putting the Geolink into rescue mode through the update screen but I can't get it to respond. What do I do to get it working again?

You haven't successfully completed calibration. When calibration hasn't been completed it will not connect. Do the calibration again until you see the LED flash periodically after it has been completed. Reboot the unit and it will connect. If your calibration process is successful, the LED should be constantly on without any flashing after it has acquired the satellites after rebooting.

So what’s the trick to get the calibration done right?

It is easier if you do it before mounting the geolink unit on the heli.

Me, I didn't know that and I had to do mine with it on a Trex 550X. It was real hard and that is with the main blades removed from the heli mind. It took me numerous attempts to get the calibration to complete. I think I managed it after about 5 attempts.

Do it like this guy in this video
