We are waiting for translations to be finished. There are things we can't affect.

Just had a quick fly of 2 6 2. I did some faster and faster drops and it recovered at the same height every time. I have it set at 7 metres and was upright at all times. I reckon after a few flights I would feel confident to take it to half that height. Good job Tomas etc.
Heed the warning about RTH. I don't have Banks but my Home position showing on the Map tab was different to the stored position even though the unit was talking to the software. Of course my pre fligh swash check showed the error. ;) Now to work out how to disarm the Alt Limit in my Jeti with a power failure ........

Hi,

can anybody else confirm, that the Altitude Limit issue is fixed with version 2.6.2 ? I cannot test it by myself because the ESC of my heli is bricked at the moment.

Best Regards,
Eugen

I have tried it many times over the weekend with 4 different Helis and it still doesn’t work . I think Tomas still needs a lot of work in programming the FBL . I tried it and several different speeds and it still blows through the set limit .

Hi morrchew,

could you describe maneuver you are testing the Altitude Limit please? We will record video of how it should work :) Please do not credit me for all the work, since we are working as team for many years.

Could you post your settings? Use screen grab? I have found the rescue to be fairly reliable down to about 10ft. Beyond that you are pushing it.

From all my testing that i have done on the Altitude limit i have found the following.
On my Align 800 i have rescue set to 90% and triggering acceleration at the max setting of 10.
When doing a speed pass at a round 100km/h and descending rather quick and reaching my set limit which is at 10 meters the Heli will always rescue itself .
Now the problem i see is when i am at a hover and set my collective stick past 5degrees of negative pitch ,the Heli will go through the set limit, this is where i have to react quick enough and apply posative pitch so that it does not hit the ground (which has happened twice for me where the skids did lightly touch)
If i apply 0 to roughly 4 degrees of negative pitch the Heli will rescue itself and shoot the Heli up .
My question is ,is the Altitude Limit for the scale to novice flier whom is learning to fly at which a negative pitch would not be greater than the negative 4 degrees . Now for the more advanced flier whom is using more than the degrees specified above i find that the Heli will go through the set limit.
I do have the same problem on all the Helies tested a 550 , and a Oxy 4 with all the same results.
I should mention that when inverted and reaching the Altitude Limit the rescue works every time but only at a slow descent .
I am using the latest firmware 2.6.2 all other features work that I have tried . I also have 12 satellites which I believe is more than enough .There are no vibes or at least very low (10 ) being the highest . I see no difference from version 2.6.1 .
Can others chime in on there experiences and roughly what pitches do you see when it not activating properly.
