Hi. I can't get the WiFi link to work.

I am using the only spare port on the uSpirit to power it - the SAT port. The manual says any port will be OK except for P/E/A.

it lights up, then it blinks, but the wifi comes and goes. before I can connect to it. it looks like the wifi link might be restarting itself as the blinking light stops after a while, then restarts.

I am using two of the small to big servo adapter cables to connect it.

The uSpirit log shows power getting low - but this is a fully charged battery on my oxy2, and the BEC is at 6v. I can't go higher or it may damage my servos.

Any ideas?

It works if I power it from the ESC programming connector. The flashing light is very bright. When it is powered from the SAT port on the uSpirit, the flashing light is very dim.

So it seems the uSpirit can't supply enough power? Suppose I am lucky the ESC has an extra connector.

Hi,

uSpirit SAT port is not intended for powering the Wifi-Link. So it is not recommended to use it for any other purposes than telemetry, GeoLink and Spektrum satellite.
Wifi-Link is drawing too much current. But you can connect it to a free port in your receiver.

Thanks ZeXx86. My receiver is a tiny R-XSR, powered from the uSpirit. I don't think the receiver can power the WiFi. I will use an adapter on the ESC programming port in future.

This seems to be a good idea.
