I have rescue on a momentary switch channel 8 and bank switching on a 3-way switch..... I can switch banks but can only enable the bank when I flip the momentary switch, which is correct.

Can anybody help me with how I can have the rescue switch always override the bank switch back to bank 0 rescue?
so, for instance, I want to switch on bank 1 and have it enabled without having to hold on the rescue switch, and then if I require the rescue I can flip the momentary switch.
now I have been trying for hours trying to get mixes working with no joy.
Could someone please walk me through it.
Futaba 14sg
Any help greatly appreciated.

In the Spirit you have banks assigned to channel 7?
You have one of the three functions assigned to stabi and channel 8?
You have the stabi tab set for the rescue mode you want in each bank?

On your radio, you have channel 8 assigned to the momentary switch and channel 7 assigned to the bank 3-way switch?

If so then bank switching should have nothing to do with the momentary switch. The momentary switch would activate whatever is configured in the stabi tab for the current bank.

Yes that is correct but I was looking for a way to return the bank say from 1 to 0 by overriding the channel 7 3-way with one move. that's if it can be done. in other words, hit rescue no matter what bank setting I have.

Unfortunately this is not possible - you have to always set Bank where the Rescue is configured. But you can define which bank should be selected for the current Flight mode by setting channel value. For example you could use a trick and set such value as Governor Gain in the radio. In Futaba there are more options, including mixes fortunately.

On the other hand, if you want to simplify the things, you can do the following.
Unassign Gyro Gain in the Spirit Settings/Channels window.
Then assign Bank Switching to Channel 5.
From that moment Rudder Gain is preconfigured for each bank directly in the Spirit Settings/Sensor.
For Bank where you have Rescue mode in the Stabi/Function, set the Rudder Gain to negative value, for example -60%.
Then just by switching Banks it will activate the Rescue immediately.
And the banks will be switched by your Gyro value in the radio, because you have selected Channel 5 for Bank Switching.

I recently setup a friends Futaba 8 ch system to do what your wanting although as ZeXx86 said you need to use your Banks and have the Tail Gain set in the unit not TX.

I can’t remember exactly how I have it set but he is able to fly in normal and in SL modes (bank 0 & 1) and use the Momentary Switch to override either of these modes at any time with the Momentary to go into Bank 2 which is set as Rescue. So limited to only 2 flight modes as such plus Rescue overide at any time.
I fly Spektrum however managed to work it out and was quite impressed with the flexible switch assignments available among other features in the Futaba system.

PM me if you can’t work your way through setting it up and I’ll get his unit back and shoot you the settings I’ve used.
