Hi,

Settings software can not detect the unit (Spirit), any clues?

USB driver is installed, red and blue led are on at the USB interface, which is connected to unit, where red led is on, the unit is wired to AR6200 receiver(*) which has solid orange light on. Receiver is powered by four AA batteries. I can see two COM ports (3-4) at settings screen and also can see COM4 at device manager. But unit status is "not connected"

Tried running software as administrator and also restarting laptop but no luck :/

So any clues?
Thanks

*not sure if wiring receiver is necessary during initial setup, but it wasnt detected without wiring the receiver anyway

Hi,

receiver is not necessary. The unit has to be only powered and RED light must be steady ON on the Spirit unit.
This mean that the Spirit Settings should be started after the unit is initialized.

This guide can help you: http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... er_Windows

When you unplug the USB interface, can you check which COM port is disappearing? For this the unit can be disconnected.
COM port that will disappear is one that is required for communication - this must be selected in the Connection tab. But normally it is automatically detected.
