This is my first spirit-system configuration.

I have configured all the required parameters. I am using a spektrum satellite with a DX9. One thing that I would like to understand is why I had to configure the reverse collective? I am very happy to have made my first flight !

My problem is with the configuration of rescue:
I chose not to use the negative gyro so i set the gyro gain to unassigned.
For the rescue instead i set the function to channel 7 and set the (p:collective something) but when i press my button they’re is not collective movement, i see the signal on my DX9 being sent and the bar moving on channel 7. I tried from -100 to 100 ( saw the whole bar moving) and from 0 to 100 (half bar moving). De swash does not move in the rescue mode. I have configured rescue on other FBL but my setup is not working.

The bank works.

What did I do wrong ? here is my config file.

I assume you have set the rescue setting also in the software? I believe this is the Stabi tab or location. You need to tell the unit you want Rescue vs. other options, and how you want rescue to work, (acro) inverted or (normal) roll over and the delay before roll-over if that is the choice?

You need to set that also, not just the special setting linked to your Chan 7.

If you use Banks, you need to set it in all three of the banks.

Hello,

the problem is in the configuration.

You are saying you set the special function to "P: Rescue something". You have to know what this "something" is.
You can view all your settings by clicking the magnifier icon near the attached settings.

There you can see that selected function is not for activation of the Rescue, instead you selected parameter (P) configuration of collective pitch for the rescue.
As you can see in this guide: http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... te_channel
you have to set F: Stabi function to make it work.

Then all willl be OK :)

Regarding collective pitch reverse, please make sure that direciton of collective pitch movement in the Diagnostic tab is same as with your stick.
So high collective pitch should be 100%, low collective pitch should be -100% (if your pitch curve in your radio is linear - default).

Thanks for the answer and the explanation !

I understand now, i used the P: Collective pitch parameter that enables me to control live the parameter on my radio versus using the F:Stabi function.

I have question on the backup, what is the difference between the backup and the 3 bank backups ? can i only use the one backup if i need to restore ?

You are welcome.

If you want to backup all 3 banks, then you have to have always 3 files as backup.
One file = one bank.

You can also load any file from one bank to another.

Thanks again.

I am working to have a better rescue on my beater Heli and make sure i will be ready for the GPS.
The GPS I must say it’s the best news in a while for « ME » in the Heli world with the sims.

How will the GPS connect to the micros spirit? Will i need to remove the BT module or need to buy a special split cable ?
