Hi

One of my heli's flip response is quite fast but when I do pitch pumping response is sluggish.

blade length = 360mm (480 class)
collective angle = 13 degree
cyclic angle = 8 degree
RPM = around 2800~3400 (?) anyway, increasing rpm didn't help

flight style = 6

feel like internal expo for collective pumping... but not for cyclic movement.

Which parameter should I change?

Hi,

unfortunately there is no parameter that could affect the collective other than the Collective Pitch Range.

If you feel a delay, then it could be caused by a problem with axial ball bearings in the rotor head.
Then it will cause delayed response and also other unwanted phenomenons. But firstly you can notice slow collective response.
So I recommend to check the rotor head.

It was my bad.
Collective was 10 deg. I've changed it to 13 deg. and it feels alright.
I will reduce cyclic from 8 to 6 deg.

I like the rolling. it's quite smooth compare to *BAR.

Great!
If you mean Cyclic Ring, then even 8° could be too low.
This limit should be at least around 9°.

I meant cyclic pitch angle. I think I set it as 8 deg. during PC setup. (May be I mixed up with *BAR - I remember it was 6 deg. in *BAR)
Cyclic ring is 11 deg. Anyway, it feels alright so I will leave as it is for now.

Thank you for advice.

Regards,

KH

What do you mean with "Cyclic pitch angle" being different to "Cyclic ring" degrees?

Please, refer this physical ring story for mode 2. Modern FBL uses digital limits. Instead of real ring.

RedJacket: Indeed, but our unit has electronic Cyclic Ring :)
Coco66: I think he meant Cyclic Ring - Aileron/Elevator Range parameter.
