Hi,

I bought a new Tribunus and I am using the Spirit Telem Uni Cable for the telemetry.
Everything works fine except the RPM, on one rotation speed it shows 1600 but in real it's 1800 and on the second it shows 2200 and it would be 2000.

I put the Master in AUX1 and Slave in AUX2, do I have to put the yellow cable of the slave cable in ELE/PIT/TAIL as with Hobbywing ESC? (http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... RPM_output)

I set the gear ratio and max. headspeed right in the spirit governor tab, but after writing the values in the tab I deactivated the spirit governor, because I want to use the Scorpion governor.

Hi,

your connection seems to be good.
Unfortunately the problem is rather in how the ESC is sensing the RPM.
You can probably only fix it by changing Gear Ratio so it will match precisely.

But he wrote that once real RPM is higher and once lower. So changing gear ratio doesn't solve it in both cases...

That is true. For sure it could be fixed by an update for the Scorpion. We will ask Scorpion to check this.

Yes but as I tried to read the RPM from my HW 160a with the Dataport I noticed that they were wrong, too. So i just put the RPM lead in Ele/pit/tail as showed in the link and everything worked fine.

Is there no extra RPM output with scorpion escs?
Or how would I have to wire my ESC if I wanted to use the Spirit Governor?

If the result was similar with HobbyWing then either the measurement is correct or the motor you have installed do not allow precise measurement.
Are you sure that measurement that you compare with is correct?

It is also possible that some configuration such as PWM frequency/timing could affect this.

What model of the Tribunus do you have?

It's a Tribunus 200a, so auto timing and PWM.

I don't know if the results with the HW were the same because I switched immediately from readout from the dataport to the readout with the RPM Lead.

My motor is a Xnova 4530-450.

It would be perfect if i could wire the Tribunus just like the Hw, but I don't know which cable the RPM Lead is or if theres one at all.

Scout:

Yes, the signal wire from the slave cable is RPM out. That will need to go to PIT on ELE/PIT/AIL port.
