In the RCgroup.com forum was a clear statement of the Spektrum Dev Team, there will be NO updates for the DX8gen1 anymore.

And thank you for the offer, doing an "extra homework" for me, I appreciate this very much.
I checked on eBay this weekend for a used gen2 TX and found a DX7G2 for a good price as a problem solver.

Beside the DX8 I have a DX7s as a spare and once in awhile as student TX.
I will now sell this radio and install all my helis and planes on the DX7G2 and enjoy the updated telemetry. 8-)

All my camera multicopters stay on the DX8G1 since I have TM1000 moduls or OSD (or both) for telemetrie readings on those big birds and I need the 8 channels.

At the end I will finally have enough model slots. All 30 slots on my DX8 where notoriously occupied, no space for variants.

Best regards
Kluftinger

Thank you for the message. All newer Spektrum radios will work (they mentioned in the Spektrum integration guide).

If you will need to help in any way, please let me know.

Update:

The integration of the Spirit FBL with the DX7Gen2 works very well. Thank you for your fantastic developement.

Since there is no device in the Blade 300cfx which transferes data for the telemetry to the Tx, I will change the original ESC to a Hobbywing Platinum V4 with 25A.
It will also work well with the scorpion 2208-24 motor and the 275 mm blades.

Overall the little Blade grew about 30% and deserves that Spirit FBL black edition

Yes, I really do enjoy my special 300 CFX and of course your extraordinary work as well.

I implemented the 25A Hobbywing ESC and after settig it up to my needs, I get flight battery voltage, rpm and trottle percentage.
To set an alarm for the battery works only with the sensor that comes with the SPM 4649T receiver.
Current display is only available with HW ESC 80 Amps and above. Not enough space on the small units

My next projekt will be a 450 Scale-Heli with a similar setup (HW 40A ESC, Scorpion motor and of course a Spirit FBL)

Best regards
Gerhard
